        Disposition:

Proud: The one trait that is overwhelming to who Theseus is, above everything else. He holds immense pride in being a king, a hero, and a warrior, something that is immediately clear to anyone who spends any amount of time around him. Theseus thinks the most of his abilities, whether it be fighting, leadership, or anything else. He also thinks highly of himself and his importance, as Champion of Elysium or because of his status as a famous legendary hero. He is incredibly happy to show any of this off, with zero subtlety or tastefulness to his bragging. It is telling that Theseus is most at home in the Elysium Arena, where he fights in front of an audience that is filled with his own fans who cheer him on.

Dramatic: Theseus always acts in a way that commands attention, from his very verbose way of speaking, to his preference toward dramatic monologues. He manages to put a theatric spin to everything, which comes into play when he is putting on a show for a crowd such as the Elysium Arena's. During his boss fight with Zagreus he directly addresses the audience, thanking his fans, shooting confetti into the stands with cannons, and showing off his flashy special moves, all of which are named.

Petty: It is easy to end up on Theseus's shitlist for questionable reasons. He is prone to getting jealous, particularly toward those more popular and famous than him. Heracles is apparently a hot button issue around him. Theseus is also an incredibly sore loser, and will hold a grudge to anyone who makes him look bad (as demonstrated by the deep hatred he develops for the main character Zagreus, who will end up beating him dozens of times to finish the game.)

Needy: It's not enough for the people to love him, they have to love him. Theseus is surprisingly insecure despite everything else. When he does feel threatened, he tends to react by overcompensating to prove himself and lashing out at the cause.

He is also rather sensitive about his friendship with Asterius, one of the very few, possibly only, genuine mutual relationships Theseus has. The possibility of being replaced in Asterius's eyes, or someone else getting more of his attention, is a point of insecurity and can immediately put him in a sour mood, though never at Asterius.

Stubborn: When Theseus is set on something, he shows unbeatable determination, as his pride will never have him give up. Relatedly, it is extremely rare for him change his mind or opinion once he has made it. Predictably for someone with his ego, Theseus has a difficult time accepting that he's been wrong and will deny so whenever he can. The only one who can get him to even think about apologizing is Asterius, who he will actually listen to and avoid offending. Even then, there are limits to what he can do to change the course of the prideful King of Athens.

Suitability: Theseus would view a newly presented challenge with full confidence and self-assuredness. He would actually be very receptive to the idea of a whole planet and god in need, and would not find it too different from the usual business of being a hero serving the will of the gods. On its face it's merely another great and mighty accomplishment to mark down under his name.

Being just one gembonded out of many will sting a lot more, but Theseus managed to stick out as a hero in one life, he'll do it again.

Condition upon arrival: Although he technically spends his entire canon dead as a Shade, I would like for Theseus to be brought back to life in Noctium. As detailed under Abilities the only practical differences will be having bodily needs and the "ability" to die again.

        Abilities:
Theseus fights with a good old fashioned shield and spear combo. Canon also mentions his proficiency with hand to hand combat and, bewilderingly, firearms. Theseus can stab or swing with his spear at melee range, or use it as a long range weapon by throwing it. He can follow up the spear throw with either a dash attack toward its landing site or by instantly recalling the spear to his hand.

As a hero who has earned recognition from the gods of Olympus, Theseus can call for their aid in battle. The attack always comes in the form of spears of light erupting from the ground, and an additional effect based on the specific god. They parallel the abilities the player character Zagreus can have:
        - Aphrodite: Applies an attack down debuff on enemies.
        - Ares: Causes damage over time.
        - Artemis: Chance to deal critical hits.
        - Athena: Gives Theseus a temporary shield from all damage.
        - Demeter: Freezes and slows down enemies.
        - Dionysus: Inflicts a poison debuff.
        - Poseidon: Blows back enemies away from Theseus on hit.
        - Zeus: Gives additional lightning attacks.

Like all the other mortal characters who show up in Hades, Theseus is dead and a Shade of the underworld. Shades don't sleep, eat, or drink, unless they feel like it! They don't have bodily functions like breathing or sweating, except for when they feel like it! While they can die and be killed, because they are already in the right place so to speak, they just come back somewhere else in Hades.

        Inventory:
        * A pronged spear and a matching shield

        Gembond: Amethyst
        Gem Location: His shoulder

        Notes:
The Zagreus player who is already in game has decided to play him without the god boons, so Theseus will not be keeping his god powers either! Because their powers are derived from the Olympian gods, it would make sense for him to not have them unless one of the gods shows up in Noctium.
